My 2024 GenAI and DevOps Perspective Journey

talks 1 min read

A collection of five talks documenting my two-year focus on generative AI and DevOps. The narrative evolved from “genAI in the product” toward examining organizational and people-centered impacts on the software development lifecycle. The talks are dense with lots of references and research.

The five talks

  1. From ChatGPT to Production — Delivering GenAI applications using DevOps principles: testing, observability, security. The DevOps Conference.

  2. AI Platform Engineering — Scaling GenAI across organizations from proof-of-concept to platform teams. AI Engineer Summit.

  3. Generative AI is Changing Our Jobs — Workforce concerns, role evolution from coder to reviewer, automation irony. DevOpsDays London.

  4. Conway’s Law and Generative AI — Long-term organizational structure trends using AI team topologies and organizational design models. AI for the Rest of Us.

  5. From GitHub Copilot to AI Native Development — New patterns in coding and SDLC products (Cursor, v0, Bolt.new), emphasizing holistic SDLC context. AI Native DevCon.
